my reformation

okay, so i haven't been writing for a couple of days because ive been undergoing a reformation. for a couple of years now, i've been having sort of a faith crisis. but yesterday, i changed. you see, yesterday (july 24) is an important holliday in utah. it was the day that utah was founded. you see, the mormon pioneers in 1847 were walking in a canyon ( later to be known emergration canyon) when they came to the salt lake valley and lake. when brigam young ( leader of the pioneers and the mormon church) rose from his wagon ( he had been sick) and saw the beauty of the valley he said " this is the right place. drive on" ( later shortened to simply "this is the place") the buit homes, befrended the indians, made schools and churches, and expaned south to st. george, ut. so, as you can see, this a very important holliday. i wanted to learn more about the pioneers, so i consulted the scipttures and have leared great things. i now know that he loves us and wants us to be happy, so i have decided that i will always try my best (and a little more) to be kind and follow his word. and yesterday was great to. we set off some fireworks and i got to do some stargazing.
